Infectious Disease

Diseases such as Feline Respiratory Disease and Canine Cough are still commonly diagnosed. Bacteria, Fungi and Yeast infections play a major part in chronic skin disease. Diseases such as Enteritis, Kidney Infections and Lower Urinary Tract Infections can cause serious illness.

Cancer Medicine

Many cancers such as Lymphomas and Mast Cell Tumours cannot be effectively managed by Surgery alone. We can offer ongoing cancer management utilizing modern drug protocols as well as providing palliative care if required. Pets with cancer can often survive comfortably with excellent quality of life for long periods with appropriate management.

Major Organ Dysfunction

Diseases such as:

  • Kidney Disease
  • Liver Disease
  • Heart Failure

With correct management pets with these, and other conditions, can lead happy, active lives

Hormonal Imbalances

Debilitating diseases such as Sugar Diabetes, caused by insufficient insulin levels, Cushings Disease resulting from excessive cortisone levels and Hyperthyroidism caused by an over-active thyroid gland can all be well controlled with modern treatments.

Transfusion Medicine

We maintain a blood bank with the gracious help of owners willing to offer their pets as blood donors. These very special, generous people and their pets are responsible for providing blood, vital in the treatment of our critical patients. We maintain a list of owners willing to offer their pets as blood donors. We are always in need of larger dogs prepared to volunteer for our blood donor program. If you would like to participate, please contact us!
